As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, I was just thinking of all He has allowed to happen in the years of life I have lived... very interesting challenges and sometimes hard storms that passed my way.

Of course, the thought comes to mind -- why God? We ask Him, voicing more frustration and confusion at times, but really just wondering why?

Yet I realize that God has permitted my challenges and storms for a reason -- it isn't random and God isn't being unkind. Though God doesn't cause all of my troubles, He does allow them so I will trust Him more and discover His abundant life... trusting Him through every circumstance.

God uses everything that comes into our lives for good. So when we cry out to Him for wisdom, expect Him to answer. And even if He doesn't give an understanding immediately, be confident that He's got an important reason for all He allows.

Psalm 71:20 -- "You have allowed me to suffer much hardship, but you will restore me to life again and lift me up from the depths of the earth."

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, I sang a song of praise to the Lord for the beauty of the ocean... the waves, the blue sky, the creatures enjoying the beach... including myself!

What are you doing today? Are you praising the Lord? Or are you magnifying your challenges in life today. I thought of David who was always encouraging himself in the Lord through praise. David said in Psalm 34, "I will magnify the Lord..." What does that mean? What does it mean to magnify the Lord?

Magnify means "to enlarge or make bigger in perspective." When we magnify something with a magnifying glass, we don't change its reality. We don't make the object we are observing any bigger but we change our perception of it. We cannot make God any bigger than He already is -- you can't increase omnipotence, but you can magnify or diminish your perspective of God. Perspective has everything to do with whether you are encouraged or discouraged!

Today as you walk your seashore of life, refuse to magnify the problems, and magnify God. Make God bigger than your trouble. Magnify the Lord! Speak of His greatness, His power, His might. Talk about how big and powerful God is! You will be encouraged just as David was!

Psalm 34:1 -- "I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth. My soul shall make it's boast in the Lord; the humble shall hear of it and be glad. Oh, magnify the Lord with me."

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, I felt joyful as the water splashed on my feet. It makes me feel like Jesus little girl that He has given the whole world to play in. Joy overflowed as I continued my walk down the beach.

Let me ask you a question. When you wake up in the morning, do you feel joyful? Do you think of all the things that are "wrong in your life" or do you look at the amazing abundance God has blessed each of us with -- health, light, sunrises, sunsets, friends, homes to live in, clothes to wear, rain to water our yards and flowers... so many things we can overlook as we go through our life! We make the choice every day to see the blessings or the curses. Look around and see God's blessings everywhere we go! He has provided wonderful things for His children to enjoy every day!

Remember today, as you walk your seashore of life, that the joy of the Lord is your strength. It will make a difference daily in your life if you walk in joy!! Don't miss out on the joy that is available to you today!

Nehemiah 8:10 -- "The joy of the Lord is my strength!"

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, I watched the baby sandpipers following the mother -- staying very close to her as they ran down the sand. I thought of how we are to stay close to our Heavenly Father as well, following in His footsteps.

There is a life that is so superior to anything the world has to offer that no comparison can be made. But in order to have that kind of life, we must be willing to be yoked to Christ and learn His ways. This means we must stay close to Him and learn how He handles every situation that arises.

His ways and thoughts are far superior to ours, and we must be willing to abandon our ways to Him and discover what His will is for our life.

Today, as you walk your seashore of life, let's determine that we will give up being independent of our Father's will and learn to lean and depend on Him. Let's give Him full reign of our lives... in return we will find rest, relief, ease, refreshment, recreation and blessed quiet!

Matthew 11:29 -- "Take My yoke and learn of Me, for I am gentle, and humbe in heart, and you will find rest for your souls."

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, I watched the sand beating against the remains of a sand castle built by some children the night before. The pressure of the waves knocking the sand back into the ocean.

The pressure of life is always there -- you must play along to get along. You do things that you aren't comfortable with in order to please others. You know that what you should do is stand up for what's right, but you feel so helpless. What choice to you really have?

My friend, understand that you are never alone. Though you are afraid of crossing someone who could hurt you or mess up your future, realize that God will always honor you for doing what is right.

God is with you and He is powerful. People that harass you may prosper in the short term, but not forever. So trust God and obey Him. He'll surely show Himself mighty on your behalf.

Psalm 97:10 -- "Love the Lord and hate evil! God protects His loyal people and rescues them from violence."

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, I felt like a kid again as I splashed thru the waves lapping at the shore. And, as I thought of Jesus it was like he was there playing in the waves with me. It brought me such great joy.

No matter what we have been through, Jesus has the amazing ability to wipe away all our tears, all our hurts and disappointments. He heals our hearts, and fills our life with joy and hope as we call on, and rely on Him. He makes a way when there seems to be no way!

Have you had hurts and disappointments that seemed overwhelming? Have you lost a loved one, had a devasting relationship or struggled in your finances? Take heart today and know you have a solution with Jesus. He is the answer to every problem we have. He is the way to life!

As you walk your seashore of life today, know that Jesus is there for you! He wants to restore all that has been stolen and give you life more abundant! Never give up -- He will always be there for you!

Jeremiah 29:11 -- "For I know the plans I have for you, plans for success, not for calamity, plans for a hope and a future."

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, I watched the pelicans fly confidently across the waves capturing their food. They never seem to be afraid there will not be enough... they move with faith -- not fear.

Fear is a powerful, unreasonable emotion. It influences how you think and react, and it even affects your physical well-being. Fear will stop you from reaching your potential. You know God is directing you in a certain way, but you refuse to step out in faith because of your apprehensions.

Understand that your fear is based on an expectation of punishment -- you believe it is inevitable that only bad things will happen. Instead, you must focus on God's character. God is all-powerful, all knowing, and completely loving. So obey Him -- He will only lead you in what's best for you. With God, you never have to be afraid.

Psalm 56:3 -- "When I get really afraid, I come to you in trust."

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, I saw so many different birds, so many shells, so many colored rocks along the sandy beach -- each one so unique in its design.

Have you ever wondered why God created the earth -- laying its foundation with such ingenuity and care? Have you considered why He would fill it with such a variety of birds, animals, and fish? Why He would create mountains and valleys, rivers and seas? Why there would be such different seasons and climates, colors and foliage? God did it for you, my friend. God filled the world with wonder and sustenance not only to feed your stomach, but to nourish your imagination and soul.

So praise your magnificent Creator and Sustainer, who has constructed this amazing world. Surely, the One who's done all this is mighty and is able to care for all your needs.

Psalm 65: 5-6 -- "God of our salvation, the hope of all the ends of the earth and of the distant seas; You establish the mountains by Your power, robed with strength."

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, I started on the beach one way and then turned and went the other way. The wind was in my face and had a really nice breeze... it was a good choice to change directions.

Whenever you make a choice, you declare what's important to you and progress in a definite direction. This is because you've either elected to honor God or serve something else.

What about the mundane choices? Does it matter where you eat lunch or what you wear to work? In such cases, it's always best to ask yourself, "is there anything about my selection that God would object to? Are there any godly principles that would help me pick a better alternative?"

Often, it's not the major decisions that change the course of your life, but the little ones you make daily. So honor God with all your choices -- His way will always be your best option.

Psalm 66:18 -- "If I had been cozy with evil, the Lord would never have listened."

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, I stopped to talk to a woman that seemed lonely and lost... just wandering on the beach. I soon learned she was a special person -- she was one of God's widows.

There were none more helpless in ancient society than the widows and orphans. The laws often left those who lost loved ones without much recourse or hope. So God took care of them -- He became their Provider and Defender.

God knows that when you're alone, the world can be a difficult place -- but you don't have to continue feeling lonely, isolated, or helpless. God loves you and invites you to be a part of His family. He gives you people to love, who'll love you in return.

So continue to know God and embrace others who belong to His family. As you give of yourself, your loneliness will melt away and your joy will surely grow.

Psalm 68: 5-6 -- "A father to the fatherless, a defender of widows, is God in His holy dwelling. God sets the lonely in families."

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, I was carrying a cup with coffee to drink as I watched the sunrise come out of the ocean. The cup became heavy as I walked... even though it was a small cup.

Loads get heavier the longer you carry them. This is true of both physical weight and emotional responsibilities. The more time you contend with them, the more fatigued you become.

You may believe that you've gotten accustomed to your burdens -- that you can handle them -- but they're still draining you. You know that because of how difficult it is for you to deal with new challenges. When you stop having joy, it is obvious you're not managing your problems successfully.

My friend, you don't have to be self-sufficient. God is happy to carry your burdens. He'll be your unfailing strength and will use the weight to help you grow. Trust Him with your concerns.

Psalm 68:19 -- "Blessed be the Lord, who daily bears our burden."

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, I came close to a beautiful flower that was even more perfect once I saw it in its fullness... what a perfect creation it was.

I related that to the same way that we are once we come close to you Lord. It is indeed an interesting paradox that the closer you grow to God, the less convinced you become of your own goodness. That is because as your acquaintance with Him increases, the more He reveals what you could be -- the excellent person He is making you into... just like that flower!

The greater your feelings of unworthiness at aspiring to His wonderful character, the more He assures you that the seeds of true godliness have taken root in you and are evidenced by your humility.

Part of God's goodness is how He develops you into the very best you can be. So today, praise Him for providing every tool you need to get there.

2 Peter 1:3 -- "His divine power has given us everything required for life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us."

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, I found a dollar bill that had been dropped on the beach and covered by the sand. Who would I find to return it to?

As we are faced daily with decisions of integrity, we must remember that God is always watching. If you want to be truly great, you must start by being honorable with all of your obligations. By practicing the standards that God instructs in His Word, even for the smallest tasks, He will then give you wisdom and success in the challenges ahead.

The more you rise in reputation and power, the more complicated your responsibilities and decisions will be. But if you are guided by godly principles, the right course of action will always be clear.

Today you will be entrusted with more as you show you have been faithful in the small things God has given you to do today. So honor Him -- wherever you are placed.

Psalm 72:1 -- "Give the gift of wise rule to the king, O God, the gift of just rule to the crown prince."

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, the waves were high and raging, slamming against the sand! It was almost like the ocean had emotions that were coming against the beach!

I thought of how we want to hurt back when someone hurts us. We have a choice to make when that happens -- the first is the road of bitterness. You ruminate on their wounding words and actions until they paralyze your heart. The second is the road of blessing. This option leads you to God, to whom you release their cruelty against you. You realize that God has forgiven you of the wrongs you have done, and to be like Him you must forgive them. This path brings you closer to God and develops His character within you.

People's failings can either draw you closer to God or paralyze your heart against Him and others. You know the better path -- so take it and be free!

Psalm 109:4 -- "In return for my love they accuse me, but I continue to pray."

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, a feeling of guilt tried to take place in my heart... that I was accomplishing nothing as I walked along the seaside, listening for God to speak so I can share it with others. It was a lie from the enemy!

There's unacknowledged work that we all do faithfully. No, what I am doing now is not the corporate job I once did... feeling in charge and on top of the world, but it is listening to the voice of God so that others may be blessed from what I share. We each have things we do faithfully, at home, in our business, in our daily walks of life, and they all have meaning because we do them to honor God. It may not be glamorous or fun work -- in fact, it is most likely humble and monotonous -- but we do our best because we know it is where God has placed us.

Precious friends... that work you do isn't for nothing. Though you may not see any fruit from your labor right now, the seeds of your loyal service, wherever that may be, are taking root and will soon produce wonderful results... so keep doing what God has given you to do -- today, in whatever place it may be. He is the one to water it and bring forth the fruit!

Psalm 128:2 -- "You shall eat the fruit o the labor of your hands; you shall be blessed, and it shall be well with you."

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, my heart was filled with joy -- joy for the very moment on the beach with my Heavenly Father. I didn't think of the future and what I was going to do, but I was living in that very moment with Jesus -- and truly enjoying it.

Life is a journey -- a process of advancement and progression. We all make our plans and get ahead of God as we go through life. As you move toward the future, you must be careful not to lose sight of the now and the enjoyment it can bring you right this very moment!

Lots of times in our life as a Christian, we know we are saved, but we are not enjoying our life! God reminds me often that our enjoyment is not based necessarily on enjoyable circumstances. It is an attitude of the heart, regardless of what our circumstance may be.

As a believer you have available to you the abundant quality of life that comes from God. As you walk your seashore of life today, don't get so caught up in your busyness that you fail to enjoy the pleasures God provides every day. He has given you abundant life and your goal should be to enjoy it to the fullest every day of your life.

John 10:10 -- "I come that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it overflows)."

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, the vastness of the ocean seemed to be endless. Its boundaries reach to the outer ends of the earth.

We seem to limit our God with our thinking when we think of our lives on the earth. As a Christian, you believe Jesus died for your sins and that when you die you will go to heaven because you believe in Him. But, there is more to our redemption than that. There is a life of victory God wants for you now... the boundaries are endless.

It is impossible to live victoriously in this earth without understanding your rightful authority and dominion over the devil and all his works. Your position "in Christ" is one of being seated at the right hand of the Lord God Omnipotent.

Today as you walk your seashore of life, God wants to restore you to the place of authority that is yours. He has already made all the arrangements; you might say He has "sealed the deal." The purchase price has been paid in full. You have been bought by the precious blood of Jesus. Therefore, I encourage you to go forth with confidence and enjoy the life Jesus has provided for you.

Galations 4:7 -- "Therefore, you are no longer a slave, but a son; and if a son, then an heir by the aid of God, through Christ."

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, I became aware of a tender spot on my foot that had been cut by a shell. It was getting on my nerves and disturbing my walk.

I thought that is how some people may be in our lives, just an irritation. Who is it that gets under your skin? You can't stand to see them achieve anything because you're convinced they don't deserve success as much as you do. When they do, well, you're devastated. Unfortunately, this is our human nature.

We may find ourselves struggling from a toxic mix of jealousy and pride -- and no good can come of it. Even if that person is as bad as we think... we are only hurting ourselves by harboring bitter thoughts. That is not how God wants our lives to be lived -- bitter and unforgiving, competing with our brothers and sisters in Christ.

My friend, life isn't about competing with others, but about the purpose of God for each of us -- and nobody can keep you from that except you. So stop competing and start praying -- now God will get involved and make necessary changes. It will transform you as well... and that is what we all need!

Psalm 131:1 -- "God, I'm not trying to rule the roost, I don't want to be king of the mountain. I haven't meddled where I have no business."

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, I watched the pelicans gliding along the peaks of the waves... so effortlessly and smooth.

There are times when God will give you ease in your journey -- like these pelicans gliding over the waves with no concern. These are the blessed moments when you truly believe anything's possible with God.

There will also be seasons when you feel like an ant -- small and challenged by obstacles. Every pebble on the path will require an arduous climb, and it'll be difficult to make progress. These are also blessed moments because you'll learn to rely on God.

Whether simple or difficult, on the heights or in the depths -- when God is directing you, you're always on stable, level ground. So proceed with confidence. He'll protect you wherever you go.

Psalm 143:10 -- "Teach me to do Your will, for You are my God; let Your good Spirit lead me on level ground."

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, I stopped to listen to the beautiful song coming from a tiny bird sitting on a small branch on the beach. He was singing his heart out -- surely to the Lord!

We have within our grasp the great message (song) ever known: There is one God who loves you and forgives your sins. He saves you if you'll only believe in Him.

Throughout history, the bravest, most compassionate people have proclaimed God's Word despite persecution, pressure, and terrible consequences. It was worth it because the message is true -- and it transforms the life of whoever accepts it.

Friends, as children of God, we have a wonderful song of truth to sing to the world. Today open your mouth as the tiny bird does, and sing the song of salvation to any that will listen! It will bring joy to the Father in heaven and release to captives in the world!

Psalm 145:21 -- "My mouth will declare the Lord's praise; let every living thing praise His holy name forever and ever."

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, my walk was interrupted by the storm cloud that seemed to be taking over. Rain was on the way quickly and the walk was aborted.

In life you will come to places that seem like abrupt ends to your dreams. Every door will appear closed, and you may even have to accept responsibilities that seem completely incompatible with the promises God has given you. Before you begin to think it is all over, remember that only this portion of your journey has concluded.

Don't despair, my friend. God is developing your character and strengthening your faith. The purpose for you life is so important that God Himself protects it for you -- you don't have to fear that it has been lost or ruined.

Obey and follow, no matter how long it takes -- despite the detours, He will unfailingly lead you to your purpose!

Psalm 57:2 -- "I cry out to God Most High, to God who fulfills His purpose for me."

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, I noticed the busyness of the beach was slowing down... there were fewer people on the beach, as we go into the fall season -- a new season.

The life of a Christian is never about sameness. It's always about change. That's why we must learn to survive and once again thrive when change involves heartbreaking loss. We're being conformed to the image of Christ.

Whenever your heart is hemorrhaging with grief and loss, never forget that Christ binds and compresses them with a nail-scarred hand. Life will never be the same, but you have the invitation from Christ to rise to a new life -- a more compassionate life, a wiser life, a more productive life. And yes, even a better life. Sound impossible? It is without Christ.

Romans 8:29 -- "Those He foreknew He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son."

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, I watched a little crab trying to hide from one of the sandpipers. He was scurrying about, looking for a place to hide. I am sure he was worried about his future -- which could end very quickly if captured by the sandpiper.

I thought of how we worry and think the enemy is going to capture us, as we carry our burdens around with us in our daily lives. The scripture in 1 Peter 5:6-7 says for us to cast our care on Him. This word means fur us to humble ourselves before Him and not worry about our lives.

Worry is the mind racing around trying to find a solution to its situation. A person who worries still thinks that in some way he can solve his own problems. But only God can deliver you and in every situation your first response should be to lean on Him.

Today as you walk your seashore of life remember this... when the enemy tries to give you a problem, you have the privilege of casting it on God. The word cast actually means to pitch or throw. You and I can pitch our problems to God and He will catch them. He knows exactly what to do with them.

1 Peter 5:6-7 -- "Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that in due time He may exalt you, casting the whole of your care on Him, for He cares for you affectionately and cares about you watchfully."

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, I found a tiny bird that lay dead on the beach... not sure how it was there or why, but I felt sad for a moment that its little life had ended.

I continued my walk and thought of how thankful I am that the loss of something or someone dear never has to mean the end of abundant, effective, or even joyful life for any Christian. These may seem to pause for a while as grief takes its course, but those who allow their broken hearts to be bound by Christ will experience them again. Our Savior is the God of resurrection life, no matter what kind of death has occurred to a believer.

When our hearts have been shattered by loss and sadness, we have an opportunity to welcome a supernatural power into our lives -- the power to live again on this earth when we'd rather die.

What a blessing!

Job 14:14 -- "When a man dies, will he come back to life? If so, I would wait all the days of my struggle until my relief comes."

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, I noticed a little sandpiper with a wounded wing that dragged along on the sand as he followed the shoreline. I prayed for him and thought of how tender God is with our wounds.

You know how it is when you break a toe or bruise a muscle. You favor, protect it from further injury, making sure no one touches you in that tender spot. The same is true emotionally. You are very guarded where those areas of hurt are concerned, careful not to let anyone near those places.

However, it is important to understand God's character when dealing with the fragile, vulnerable issues of your life. How easy it would be to finish breaking a reed that is bent in two? Or to put out a wick that is only smoldering? Most would not think twice about it.

Remember as you walk along your seashore of life today, God is gentle and kind -- He would never hit you where it hurts. Rather, He will tenderly nurse your fragile issues so you can be healed and made whole again. What an awesome God we serve!

Isaiah 42:3 -- "A bruised reed He will not break and a dimly burning wick He will not extinguish."

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, I picked up a beautiful smooth stone that had colors that were so beautiful, more beautiful than anything I had ever seen on the beach.

I thought of the verse that says, "Our Father has things prepared for us that our eyes have not seen and our ears have not heard." Isn't that an amazing thought? Do you ever think that your heavenly Father loves you so much that He has prepared these incredible gifts for you? How often do we really take a look at what He has given us -- the gift of life, the gift of friends to share life with, the gift of health, the gift of peace, the most precious gift of all -- the gift of eternal life? Do you ever just wake up amazed at the life around you? If you don't, then let today be the first day of truly seeing the wonderful world our Father has created for us to enjoy. Then let it become a way of life every day.

Today, decide that every day you are going to see the world around you with different eyes, and listen to the sounds around you with different ears. I bet you will see and hear your Heavenly Father speaking wonders to you more often!

1 Corinthians 2:9 -- "But as it is written; 'Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him.'"

As I walked the seaside today, I felt the water rushing over my feet... slowing me down as I tried to walk briskly. Suddenly I felt the Holy Spirit say to me, "Slow down and enjoy the moment."

I thought how many times do we rush through our day not taking the time to enjoy the moments He presents to us each day. We hurry to get to the next task, the next meeting, the next objective... missing the moments of glory and joy in the present. What a sad thought that He plans our days, directs our steps and we waste this gift by worrying about what we have to do tomorrow. We think of where we want to go, who we want to see, what we want to accomplish... worry, worry, worry, busy, busy, busy... what a waste of life! I am sure our Father looks at us in disgust because He has provided a way for us to enjoy our life. He is not controlled by time and we spend our lives trying to manage it!

Today as you walk your seashore of life, take time to enjoy the moment you are in. Listen as you sit quietly for your Father to speak to you. He is telling you not to worry about tomorrow but to slow down and enjoy the moment of the present... you will then begin to enjoy your life in a new and fresh way... as they say, "Carpe diem." (Seize the moment.)

Matthew 6:34 -- "Take therefore no thought for the morrow; for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself."

Devotions August 3, 2010

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, the water was amazing calm as it lapped gently against the sand.

That should be how our spirits are -- calm -- knowing in our hearts that our Father is in charge of our lives. But it seems we do not operate like that in our everyday lives. We lose our cool, we snap at one another the first time things don't go our way. We allow hurtful words come from us that damage the relationships around us... words that can never be taken back! Words are powerful containers that create what we speak.

What an amazing power has been given to us -- the power to speak life or death in every situation. Think about the words you are speaking -- what are they -- life giving or destructive? You have the choice! It is up to you and only you -- not what others do, or say, but up to you!

Today determine you will speak only words of life and build up those around you! God will honor the words of life you speak. After all, that is how He created the world!

Proverbs 18:22 -- "Life and death are in the power of the tongue!"

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, I watched the dogs running on the beach chasing the seagulls. They were free to run and play. I felt free as well, knowing I was free from my past... free from sin. Isn't that a wonderful feeling -- to be free?

Do you feel free today, or has the devil tied you up in knots, thinking about all your sin and mistakes made in life? You can be free today! Jesus paid the price.

Sin is a real issue for most people, but sin does not have to be a big problem. Do you know God has already made provision in His Word for your human failures? Most people make a much bigger deal out of these things than God does.

Jesus understands your human frailty because He was tempted in every way we are. Because He is your High Priest, interceding with the Father for you, you can come boldly to God's throne to receive all of His grace, favor and mercy. Remember that as you walk freely on your seashore of life today!

Hebrews 4:15-16 -- "For we do not have a High Priest who is unable to understand and sympathize and have a shared feeling with our weakness and infirmities and liability to the assaults of temptation, but One who has been tempted in every respect as we are, yet without sinning. Let us then fearlessly and confidently and boldly draw near to the throne of grace and we may receive mercy."

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, the storm had washed a broken reed onto the beach... broken, and battered.

That may be what you are feeling after the intense heat of the summer months -- broken, battered, and worn out. You may be feeling as though you need a break from the life circumstances you have been experiencing. Your nerves may be frayed and your mind is tired. This is when you need to excuse yourself from life and take a break with the Lord. He is there waiting for you -- to refresh your soul. This is the time to come away to find solace and strength and be restored as we prepare for a new season.

Today know God is waiting to lay your circumstances at the feet of your Savior and let Him restore and refresh your soul. He has prepared a place of rest for you... come sit at His feet.

Psalm 31:20 -- "You hide them in the shelter of His presence, safe from those who conspire against them. You shelter them in the presence, far from accusing tongues."

Blessings and peace,
Sherron
