As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, I found a tiny fish that has been washed upon the shoreline and it was about to lose his life. I gently nudged him back into the water and he swam swiftly into the ocean.

Just as we are at times about to lose our life and stop breathing, the Holy Spirit sends someone along to gently help us back on our path of life. We are there -- lost in our pain, our loss, our grief, and struggles of life and that person all of a sudden connects and brings us back to life! Isn't it amazing to see how our Father works? He knows just the right person and the perfect time to allow the life giving connection to take place so we can continue our life journey.

Today you may be that very person God wants to use. As you walk your seashore of life, listen to His gentle nudges to see if you may be that life-giving person He will use to revive someone back to life! What an eternal blessing it is -- to see that person get up and start breathing again, just as I watched the tiny fish swim away... back to his life in the ocean water! He could have lay there and died, but God sent me to the tiny creature! What a lovely blessing to experience. Be that life giver today!

Genesis 2:7 -- "And the Lord God formed man... and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being."

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, I watched three pelicans sitting on the pier waiting for the fish to come by. They were waiting for food... but only one was participating. The others were just sitting by watching the fish swim by!

I thought of how we are in our own lives. God has given us the food for life -- His Word, and we sometimes choose to sit by and let it go swimming by. We sit there like the two inactive pelicans waiting on someone to bring us the food and put it in our mouth. Unfortunately, it does not work like that. We have to pursue the bread to feed our spirits or we will be left hungry.

If we are hungry for the Word, we are going to have to be aggressive and go for it! We need to be aware that the enemy wants us to stay out of the Word so we are left hungry and defenseless in this world! That is not how God planned it. He has provided the food we need to live victoriously but we have to be willing to go get it!

Today, take the position of the aggressive pelican who was serious about gathering the food. Get off the wall and go to the Word -- that will give you life and victory in your world today! He is waiting for you to be fed!

John 6:48, 51 -- "I am the bread of life. I am the living bread... if anyone eats of this bread, He will live forever and the bread that I shall give is My flesh, which I shall give for the life of the world."

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, I watched the seagulls dive from high above into the water to catch the fish for food. They would circle, go high and dive again and again into the waves for food and come out with the fish every time! It is amazing to watch!

I thought of how God has equipped the seagulls with incredible vision to be able to see the fish below from such heights above the water! And to be able to hit their target as they dive into the water from above! Pretty amazing, isn't it?

I then thought about us... He has also prepared us with "spiritual vision" so we can see the world from His seat with the Father in heaven. We get lost when we start looking at things through our own human eyes, and the situations around us. We can miss the target in life when we allow ourselves to be blinded by our circumstances. We must be like the seagulls... see the target from above, get focused and then "dive" straight toward the goal!

Today as you walk your seashore of life, look at life through your spiritual eyes and your vision will become more clear! You will see the goal He has set before you and you will reach that goal! You are equipped to do what He has given you to do in the earth! Dive deep -- and reach that goal!

Proverbs 4:25-26 -- "Let your eyes look straight ahead, and your eyelids look right before you. Ponder the path of your feet and let all your way be established."

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, I watched a wounded little sandpiper limp along the shoreline. He was faithful to be on the beach everyday... and I knew he had to have renewed strength daily to make the walk with the other sandpipers.

Does it ever puzzle you how the strength and certainty you received from God yesterday or this morning was only sufficient for a while? That you need to keep going back to God in order to sustain your faith?

You are not weak. The need to keep going back is actually evidence that your relationship with God is healthy. God has fashioned His encouragement this way because He wants you to return to Him. He desires for you to speak with Him often and continually draw from His grace.

Go to Him today -- study Him, seek His goodness, and remember His power. Sustain your faith, strength, and certainty by staying in the presence of God.

1 Chronicles 16:11-12 -- "Study God and His strength, seek His presence day and night; remember all the wonders He performed."

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, I watched the seagulls playing in a puddle that had formed along the beach. The puddle had been created by a crevice the waves had created as the tide receded back into the ocean boundaries, separate from the ocean... calm and safe.

The tiny creatures were in a safe place... where the water was calm and undisturbed by the ocean turbulence. The wind had created white caps on the wave tops and the water was cold... but the creatures had found a safe haven provided by the Father.

That is the way we are when the storms of life come, seeking refuge in the arms of our Heavenly. He creates a safe haven for us that we can run to when life seems bigger than we can handle. Where do you run when your challenges seems too big? Do you run to others, do you run away?

Be wise and run to Him. He has safe waters He will place you in, that will give you joy even when the waves of life come! Run into His shelter and let Him cover you. You can enjoy life when others are tossed about! He is your calm water in times of trouble!

Psalm 9:9 -- "The Lord also will be a refuge and a high tower for the oppressed, a refuge and a stronghold in times of trouble."

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, it was late and the sun was setting painting a beautiful backdrop for the close of a wonderful day! A tiny little sandpiper seemed to want my company as he followed me along the shoreline.

Isn't that the way we are at times... watching a perfect day and just wanting to share it with a friend. Is so comforting to know we always have that friend to share with us no matter where we go! It is Jesus -- He is our friend that is always there to share whatever we feel, think or say, no matter what may be going on in our lives! Even on those days that are not perfect, or we may be hurting or at times, confused about the next step in our life! But He is there... ready to walk beside us, speaking to our hearts to lead the way!

What a blessing to know that we never ever going to have to be alone -- no matter what! Like the tiny sandpiper that wanted to share the walk with a friend today... He is there to share your walk with you! Let Him be that friend that walks daily with you and see what a joy your life can be! He is the "true friend" that will never leave you or forsake you!

Deuteronomy 31:6 -- "It is the Lord your God Who goes with you; He will not fail you or forsake you."

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, my walk was one of aloneness with only a few people on the beach. My Father was showing me that there are times we seem to have to walk alone in areas of our life, but He is always there!

When Moses led the Israelites out of Egypt, slavery was all they understood. They didn't know the land, the challenges ahead, or even how to defend themselves. So God gave them the pillars of cloud and fire as visual reminders of His presence, protection and guidance.

When God leads you into areas you are not acquainted with, He gives you pillars of provision as well. They may be Bible verses, songs, or even godly friends who turn up whenever you need a reminder that you are not alone.

When you receive those pillars, praise God. He is assuring you of His presence -- and guiding and protecting you every step of your journey! What a calming and peaceful thought that is -- He is there for you and with you!

Exodus 13:21 -- "The Lord went before them by day in a pillar of cloud to lead the way, and by night in a pillar of fire to give them light."

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, the sun was finally shining brightly and melting the gray haze from the ocean's waves. Life was returning to the seashore!

And isn't that how we are when we have been in a challenge with life? It seems the sky is gray, the mood is sad, the road is rocky, breathing is difficult... it almost seems hopeless to move forward. Then, suddenly, the bright sun bursts through the sky, and everything seems to change... our attitude, our thoughts, the way we walk, the way we respond! And all it takes is that moment the sun breaks forth! We have hope again and begin to breathe with life and excitement!

God is so amazing in that He never leaves us in the darkness longer than we can handle. He will bring the sunshine in some form... whether it is a person, a breakthrough, the sun itself in to break the gray sky of life! He allows us to breathe again. He becomes our very breath as we trust Him to take us to the next place!

Today as you walk your seashore of life, know the sun is bursting forth into whatever circumstance you are in! It is just around the corner, waiting to give you life and the ability to breathe again so you can move into your Godgiven destiny. Don't give up just trust Him for the next breath!

Psalm 33:20-21 -- "Our soul waits for the Lord; He is our help and our shield. For our heart shall rejoice in Him, because we have trusted in His holy name."

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, I noticed a tiny little tree that seemed to be bowing to the wind along the beach.

It made me think of what we bow to in our world today. Do we bow to what others think? Do we bow to crazy schedules, status, the world's way of thinking? What do we bow to... the world's expectations of others, how we look, or how we must perform on a daily basis? Do you bow to your fears, your thoughts of the future?

Think about it in your own life. What is it that you bow to... is it the world's expectations or do you bow to the King's expectations? When we bow to Him, we can stand straight in the face of the enemy. Just as the three servants, Shadrach, Meshack, and Obednigo did not bow to the King and were thrown into the fiery furnace with the heat turned up seven times hotter than normal, they stood tall and were not burned. They didn't even smell like smoke! What a testimony of our Father who protects us when we only bow to Him!

Today as you walk your seashore of life, remember that we are commanded to have no other God's before us but to only bow to the King of Kings. Then we will stand tall among others because we are truly His representatives -- bowing to His ways, not the world's way! Stand tall for the King today!

Psalm 20:7-8 -- "Some trust in chariots, and some in horses; But we will remember the name of the Lord our God. They have bowed down and fallen; but we have risen and stand upright!"

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, I noticed a tiny flower blooming on the side of the beach, even though we were in the midst of winter!

Isn't that just like our Father -- to show us "tiny glimpses" of what is to come? He is always winking at us and preparing us for what is to come! I love how He gently leads us in our daily walk and if we are "truly watching" and "looking" with anticipation, we will see Him speaking everywhere we look! But we have to be "expecting" to see His hand moving in our lives.

We become too busy to see His hand move right before us and miss so much of what He has given us. I want to always be like that child, expecting my Dad to do incredible things to make this life exciting! And guess what... because I expect it, He does it! After all, what moves Him is faith that "He is". What a way to live every day, expecting your Father move on your behalf every day you are alive! Why would anyone not want to walk hand in hand with the Heavenly Father, knowing He is always going to do what is best for us!

Today, make a new declaration to live "expecting Him" to do great things in your life... it may be a small thing, but it can be a great thing... like a tiny flower on the beach, smiling at you as you take your morning walk! He will never disappoint you when you are looking for Him, expecting Him to move in your life!

James 1:6 -- "But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind!"

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, I found a quiet place to sit on the beach, to let the warm glow of the sun hit my face as I listened for His voice.

We must take time to come aside and still ourselves before Him... to hear what He has to say! How else will we know which way to go, except we wait for Him to give us direction for life! We must be still before we move, less we are moved by our own thoughts, our own plans, and not His way! He knows what is ahead and will tell us if we are willing to "wait for Him."

How many times have you moved ahead with your plans and your ideas that seemed good, sounded great at the time only to fail at the end of the course. He says if we commit our ways to Him, He will direct our paths in life. So -- bottom line, get the instruction from the Director of our path, then we will be on the right path and save ourselves a lot of "trouble." He knows the way to go... and He will share it with you, if you are willing to make the sacrifice of time with Him.

Today, before you rush into your day, take the time to "wait before Him" and hear what He is telling you today! See if your path doesn't become more peaceful and straight! He wrote the Book and knows the way to go!

Proverbs 3:5-6 -- "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths."

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, a storm brewed over the ocean and created a heavy fog that hovered over the waves.

It is like that in life at times... we seem to be walking in a fog that the enemy brings to blind us to the path God has for us. Many of us have felt dazed, stunned, as if in a stupor, by the unexpected events that come crashing into our lives. This has been a very effective weapon the enemy has used against us to keep us from being effective for the Kingdom of God!

But I tell you this... the fog is going to lift! The oppression shall cease! The storms will cease! You will suddenly have clarity of mind and purpose as though you are coming out of a deep, dark sleep! You will walk into the bright day of life, with new vision, new purpose and new passion! He has already gone before you to prepared the way!

Get out of the boat, as Peter did, and get into life! Walk toward Jesus, with your eyes fixed on Him. He is there with His hand outstretched -- waiting for you to fulfill your purpose on this earth! Don't miss your destiny!

Romans 13:12-- "The night is far spent, the day is at hand! Therefore, let us cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armor of life!"

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, I noticed a piece of a broken sand dollar. It had been washed aside and seemed to go unnoticed, but I found the beautiful treasure and kept it.

Sometimes in life, we feel we are broken and set aside, of no use to anyone. But then we fall into the hands of the Father who picks us up from our "put aside state." We become His treasure, just as the sand dollar became my treasure! I knew the storms the sand dollar had weathered, to be formed into the beautiful treasure adorning the beach. I wanted to keep it, protect it, and not let it become further damaged.

Isn't that the way our Father does? He wraps us in His love when He finds us broken? He hides us beneath His wings, and prepares a way for us to recover and be renewed and restored! He knows the treasure that He has hidden deep within us! What an amazing event -- to be picked up from the beach of life and put on a new place of life by the Creator of all things! In His love, we flourish and become beautiful again -- full of life, renewed in our minds and ready to take on the world!

As you walk your seashore of life today, know you have been discovered by the Creator and He is there to "keep you, protect you, and position you" into the destiny for which you were created. You are His treasure -- so live life fully and expecting....

Psalm 119: 162 -- "I rejoice at your Word as one who finds great treasure!"

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, I watched the tiny sandpiper follow the border of the water along the seashore. He didn't fight the borders, he just followed.

Why don't we follow God instead of fighting Him like His tiny creature does. He doesn't whine, or complain because the water makes him have to move out of the way! Why don't we just follow His lead and submit to His will? Our lives would be so much more peaceful and less stressful, because when we follow His lead, His peace overrides everything in our lives. And that is how He means for us to live!

Today as you walk your seashore of life, imagine yourself being one of God's tiny creatures, willing to follow Him, in whatever path He choses for you...without struggling, fighting, whining or complaining. How would that change your life? Can you trust Him to do what is best for you? He loves you so much and only wants what is best...and He has made a way for you! Today, chose to follow and not fight and watch your life change! You might find yourself smiling and enjoying your life...just as the tiny sandpiper does!

Proverbs 3:5-6 -- "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not unto your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct your paths."

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, the breeze off the ocean was cool but the touch was gentle, just as the love of the Father is to our hearts.

Today can you feel the love of God in your life or are you too busy focused on the problems you are experiencing? Remove the thoughts of worry and let the breeze of the Holy Spirit blow on you. He wants to wrap His arms of love around you in the day of chaos.

He wants you to be lost in His love every moment of the day! If God loved is like this, we certainly ought to love each other. No one has seen God, ever. But if we love one another, God dwells deeply within us, and His love becomes complete in us -- perfect love!

This is how we know we're living steadily and deeply in Him, and He in us: He's given us life and love...from His very own Spirit. Remember, everyone who confesses that Jesus is God's Son receives this love as a free gift to share with others. So today, receive this amazing love and feel Him wrapped around you -- secure, confident and loved!

1 John 4:19 -- "And we have known and believed the love that God has for us. God is love, and He who abides in love abides in God, and God in Him."

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, I picked up a shell that was filled with water from the wave as it washed over the shell.

I thought of times we feel "filled" with God's power, full of the anointing. The word "filled" may not exactly portray your condition at the end of a day, especially during the winter months when the temperatures are cold and dreary! Perhaps "drained" is a better description of how you have been emptied of energy, creativity, and even patience.

Yet it is precisely when you have reached the end of you own resources that God begins to fill you with His. He shows you that He sufficiently supplies what you lack and satisfied your deepest yearnings.

It is His desire to fill you with hope -- the knowledge that you will have joy and peace when you trust His help in every circumstance. So today be filled with Him and rest easy. He will surely satisfy your soul.

Romans 15:13 -- "May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope."

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, I feel the change in the season coming as the days get longer. And as it is in the natural, it is also in the spiritual. We are coming into a new season...spring will break forth soon! Glory to God!

Change, even if it is positive, can be stressful. At times it will feel like everything is fluctuating -- friends relocate, jobs come and go, and even values can vary with cultural trends. It can be difficult to make a decision when everything is so unpredictable.

However, the one thing you can hold on to when everything else is shifting is God. No matter what happened today -- or what may occur tomorrow -- He will never stop loving you, and He is always ready to help you.

Are things changing for you? Then you need an advocate that is wise and trustworthy. Today, rest easy knowing that God's reliable counsel and strength are available to you.

Hebrews 13:8 -- "Jesus Christ (the Messiah) is always the same, yesterday, today and forever."

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, I thought of how much I love this time! It is always exhilarating, refreshing and inspiring. I am doing what I love to do, because it inspires me for the writing of these devotions!

The Word speaks of doing labor, then we will be happy and it will be well with us! Behavioral researchers have discovered that when people enjoy their work and feel it is meaningful, they are more productive, more open to improvement, and are more concerned about the quality of their work. As their levels of productivity and quality rise, they become even more efficient and actually begin to earn more money -- through promotions, pay raises or a broader customer base! As their income increases, they tend to enjoy their work even more!

For us to be truly effective, we must find pleasure in the work we do! Today, find something you sincerely enjoy doing, do it well and success will surely follow!

Psalm 128:2 -- "When you eat the labor of your hands, you shall be happy, and it shall be well with you!"

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, I watched the sandpipers walk softly along the beach. They are never proud but always seem to have such a humility about them even though they are God's special little beach creatures.

This always makes me think of how we are to be humble before the Lord. Great peace is with the humble man, but in the heart of a proud man are always envy and anger. Though envy and anger are motivating forces, they are more destructive than constructive. It is tough getting anything beneficial done when you are constantly focused on gaining advantage over others.

Today, concentrate on building others up and bringing out the best in them. Because when you identify their positive traits and cheer for their success, you help them to grow in their God-given purpose. Certainly, that is always a constructive and praiseworthy pursuit.

Philippians 2:3 -- "Don't be jealous or proud, but be humble and consider others more important than yourselves."

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, I could feel His presence as though He was right there with His footprints along side of me. My prayer as I walked was that He lead me in the way I should go...and He was there.

God's direction for your life is not a hidden secret. You may not know where your path is taking you, or even what your next step should be, but you can be absolutely sure that what you need to know, God will show you.

Of course, there will be moments when you must ask God for wisdom. Yet experience will teach you that He is delighted when you want to do His will, and He gladly shows you what to do step by step...guiding you by walking with you.

God will make all things plain to you! So today as you walk your life be patient and walk with Him. He will never steer you wrong.

John 14:26 -- "The Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send at my request, will make everything plain to you."

Today as I walked the seaside with Jesus, I was reminded that Jesus feeds His fish daily from the ocean with an unlimited resource. I know this because I never see dead fish, lying on the beach that are starved from lack of food.

The scripture that says, "feed my sheep" came to mind as I continued along the beach. How do we do that daily? Do we do it with our "prayers" or real actions? Actions speak louder than words...and yet how many of us rationalize our love in action on the basis of our intentions and fine words. That does not feed His sheep.

Maybe the needs around us are so great we don't know where to start. That is one "reason", but maybe it is because we are too focused on our own needs, wants and comforts.

If God's love for His sheep, the needs for others around you bottled up, then ask the Holy Spirit to show you how to open up the flow. He will show you if you are really interested. He will put that person before you. All you have to do, is feed that one person He puts in your path today. God will use you to "feed His sheep" ...even if it is just that one.

John 21:15 -- "...do you love Me more than these? He said, yes...He said to him, feed my sheep."

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, I was reminded that every day we are the ambassadors of Christ in the earth. Every day we should be speaking His blessings to those around us...just as His creatures speak to me every day on the beach as they play in His mighty ocean.

It is easy to imagine that at times the emissaries of presidents, kings and governments get anxious. Speaking for the policies of their home nations can be difficult, even if they are not hindered bu the language or culture of the country they have been sent to.

However, you should never be afraid of representing God. That is because you are daily growing in the character of the One you stand for each day resembling Him more and more.

The power, love and discipline of God are making you into His well-equipped, proficient, and worthy ambassador. Today, do not fear! Embrace the One who has transformed you into His ambassador in the earth!

2 Timothy 1:7 -- "God has not given us a spirit of timidity, but of power and love and discipline."

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, I was reminded that we have to continually bring our thoughts under the obedience of the Word of God. Otherwise, we run free, just like the sea creatures in the ocean.

Did you ever notice that right before a spiritual breakthrough your mind will run rampant? Or even your circumstances have a way of distracting you, to keep you from going to the destination God has planned for you. The enemy will do everything he can to stop you and keep you out of God's plan for your life.

Remember, you are a threat to his invasion. Watch closely for his intrusion into your life through circumstances, interaction with others, and especially your own thoughts and emotions. Do not give in to these thoughts when they come -- that you are going to miss God and lose your destiny! God has your back in every situation. Just remember to resist the enemy on every turn and he will flee. This is a promise from God!

James 4:7 -- "Therefore submit to God...Resist the devil and he will flee from you."

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, again I was reminded of the faithfulness of our Father in Heaven. Just as the sun had risen over the ocean, so would He keep His word to fulfill every single promise He has given us.

God never delays His promises to frustrate you. Rather, He patiently waits until everything comes together and you've learned all you need to receive them.

The hope you can take from that is the absolute certainty that a pledge He has made is one He insists on fulfilling well. In other words, the blessings God gives you are yours forever -- and He continues to work with you until you are ready to experience them fully.

God is committed to you for the long haul. So never fear being unqualified to receive His promises. Today, learn from Him and obey His instructions so that the waiting will be exceptionally effective.

2 Peter 3:9 -- "The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you."

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, I thought of my friend I walked with every day last year. Each day we shared the Word and the love of Christ...what a blessing it was.

Often the people who do not know God will have difficulty understanding why you place your confidence in someone you cannot see. They may even fear what they do not comprehend, and they endeavor to discourage or discredit you.

However, always remember that as you stand for God, He is the One who empowers and protects you. It is His duty to defend His name. And He will show Himself to you in a way that both validates your trust in Him and shows the one who opposes you His love.

Today, do not fear anyone or any situation. God is with you, and His name will always prevail.

2 Chronicles 14:11 -- "Help us, O Lord our God, for we rely on you, and in your name we have come.""

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, I had just come from a 21 day fast for the New Year. My energy level was high and my mind was clear as I felt the breeze coming from the ocean!

God has called us to put first things first...that means putting Him first in our lives before anything else. The New Year is a great time to make this declaration in everything we do -- "Today Lord, you are first."

He says that if we fast, He will intervene and move in our lives. If we fast and commit time to Him, and separate ourselves from the busyness of the world, we will see His hand give us revelation that otherwise we will miss. The yokes of burdens, wickedness, and oppression on our lives will be broken according to Isaiah 58:6. It is a sacrifice with a guarantee of intervention from God, if we will give a fast unto the Lord and expect results according to His promise.

Today read Isaiah 58:6-12 and see what the results of a fast can bring into your life as you begin this year. Commit time to Him and watch what will happen...He is waiting for you and is ready with results!

Isaiah 58:6 -- "Is this not the fast that I have chosen to loose the bonds of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, to let the oppressed go free, and that you break every yoke?"

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, the seagulls flew close to the water with their bright white bodies reflecting on the water! They are the same beautiful creatures that are there every winter, and never fail to show up . . . just like Jesus!

Today I am reminded that we can only trust in Jesus...the one that is always faithful! He is the one source we all have available to us. He has no favorites, none that are excluded from access to the throne of God, if we only give our hearts to Him.

What an awesome privilege to know we have the freedom to come to Him, give Him our lives and then "trust Him" to show us the way to live with freedom, love, wisdom, protection, mercy...what a total package of life! He has prepared a way to live in this world, and to live successfully...a promise that He will never ever leave us or forsake us! No matter what comes your way you have a source for life if you will only receive it!

Today as you walk your seashore of life, let Him take over your heart, your life, your needs and do only what He can do! Receive Him and accept His promises for your life on this earth! It is better than anything you will ever find here! Go for it today...commit to live fully for Him! It will be the best decision of your life this year!

Psalm 37: 3-4 -- "Trust in the Lord, and do good; dwell In the land and feed on His faithfulness. Delight yourself also in the Lord, and He shall give you the desires of your heart."

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, I followed the crooked border of the water and thought of how crooked our path seems at times.

Generally, the most expeditious way to get from one point to another is a straight line. Yet when you look on a map, highways meander around landmarks and scenery that mapmakers do their best to indicate with symbols and colors. Unfortunately, the two-dimensional nature of the map is limited in representing why the roads are built as they are.

Similarly, because of your viewpoint, your life will take turns that make no sense to you. However, if you stay close to God and do as He says, you know that are on the right road. No matter the twists and turns, you are on the straightest route to fulfilling your purpose.

Psalm 27:11 -- "Teach me your way, O Lord. Lead me in the straight path."

Blessings and peace,
