As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, I didn't see any of the usual creatures... the sandpipers seemed to be hiding on this day. The sky was gray, and I felt totally alone, when all of a sudden a smiling stranger walked into my path.

We are never alone. Even when it might feel that way, God puts people in our lives at strategic moments, to comfort us, to give us encouragement, and to help us find strength to face the next trial. The Bible has many examples: Adam had Eve, Moses had Aaron, David had Jonathan, Mary had Elizabeth, and Paul had Timothy.

When times are tough, God will be there. He will send messengers at the moments when we need them most. They may be strangers, trusted friends, or unexpected acquaintances. They may not even be what we expect.

Be open, my friend, to the words and touch of those around you. In this sometimes ugly world, they may be just exactly who -- and what -- you need.

And be open to how God may use you. You may be that special person in someone else's life, providing them strength to make it through their day.

Galations 6:2 -- "Bear one another's burdens, and thus, fulfill the law of Christ."

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, the quiet and solitude of the beach was amazing, after the hectic send off of the New Year! My soul was lost in the peace of the time alone -- watching the waves roll in over and over and over.

So many people try to cram fifty hours of activity into twenty-four-hour days. That seems to be the expectation of the world. Yet our souls cry out, "Stop! Be quiet. Seek silence. Just be." When we take a break from the constant running, a door opens into heaven.

Attend to the mysteries of your soul by quieting your mind before the Lord. Nothing is more valuable than this time with God. No schedules, no chores, no plans are more important than the need to sit in the presence of His glory.

Create a space for quiet. Create a place for prayer. Maybe it's that favorite rock by the brook, or a favorite chair in your bedroom. Wherever it is, that is your place for taking time to be and to renew your spiritual health.

The paradoxical truth is that you are too busy not to take time for God.

Mark 1:35 -- "And in the early morning, while it was still dark, He arose and went out and departed to a lonely place, and was praying there."

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, the dolphins were jumping higher than I had ever seen them jump. It was a continual show of their trust in the safe place the Lord of the universe has placed them... a place of fun, a place of substance... every need met daily by the Father! They truly display trust, not anxiety!

A trust exercise is when you fall backward into someone's arms. The trust part, of course, is in being willing to believe that the person behind you is going to catch you. It isn't easy. You look back to make sure the person is actually there, ready. And even then, you have to turn around, close your eyes and fall.

God desires that His people make the trust exercise a lifelong discipline. He wants us to throw everything into His hands and trust that He will do what is best. Sometimes we glance back in fear, wondering if He will catch us. But instead of giving God a doubtful glance, we can remind ourselves of the ways that He has proven Himself trustworthy.

God can do anything with you... amazing things that you cannot today imagine. You just need to trust Him enough to put everything in His hands.

Proverbs 3: 5-6 -- "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him. And He will make your paths straight."

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, I watched a small puppy come running toward me... ready to receive love! They somehow know they are going to be loved, because they are such loving and cute furry creatures.

Acceptance is such a basic human need. Babies crave it. And puppies wag their tails at it. But for some, acceptance from others comes at a very high cost. Or it doesn't come at all.

In God's eyes, however, we are all worthy. We all are loved. And we are all the same. This is what the true meaning of love in 1 Corinthians 13 talks about: no matter how much another person hurts us, mistreats us, irritates us, or ignores us, his or her soul has the same eternal value as ours. So since there are no half-priced humans in the Kingdom of God, we are to love (and accept) them -- even if their offensive ways stay the same.

Challenging? Yes, be well worth the effort to please the One who is love itself.

Luke 6:27-28 -- "But I say to you who hear, love your enemies, do good to those who hate you. Bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you."

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, I watched the pelicans diving for their food. They seem to never be concerned that there would not be plenty of fish for them. Their needs are always met.

Think about the shepherd -- how he provides for His sheep. How he finds them water without parasites to quench their thirst. How he'll walk miles to lead them to the grass that will nourish them and give them strength.

The gentle shepherd knows when his sheep need rest, and he watches over them while they sleep. With him, they don't fear predators, because hi is a strong, skilled protector. Neither do they despair when the terrain is too difficult, because they know the shepherd won't fail them.

Today your Good Shepherd is with you -- so don't be afraid. Trust His perfect leadership and unfailing love to keep you, and follow Him confidently every day of your life.

Psalm 23:1 -- "The Lord is my shepherd; I have everything I need."

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, I noticed a tiny pink flower that had blossomed into a beautiful sight after so many cold wintry days. It was hidden beneath the sand dune, where it was protected and soaked up the morning sun.

It reminded me of the hidden dreams within each of our hearts. There is a desire that germinates in your heart -- like a rare, sacred flower it grows and fills you with joy and purpose. The Lord has planted it in you. You made Him your focus and delight, and He's given you this special yearning in your soul.

Yet perhaps you're wondering when this sweet promise will bloom -- when you will see its wondrous petals of blessing unfold. The days come and go, yet you have no sign of it blossoming.

My friend, the God who sows this hope in you will reap a glad harvest in due time. Just keep enjoying Him. Soon enough, the desires of your heart will flourish and you will rejoice in Him anew.

Psalm 37:4 -- "Delight yourself in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart."

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, the sun had broken through the clouds that looked dark and stormy. All of a sudden the daylight had overtaken my walk along the beach.

Everything always appears more frightening in the dark. The house that is so warm and inviting while sunlight streams through its windows is ominous during a stormy night. As unknown creaks and groans echo through the walls, your place of shelter can feel confining and treacherous.

The same is true when there is darkness in your circumstances. The unknown can be fearsome and restrictive, and you long for the light of understanding to shine on your situation.

Friend, don't be discouraged -- it is never as bad as it seems. The fresh sunrise will reveal God's insight and provision for your problems. As He illuminates your situation, you will see that what brought you despair was really an opportunity for delight.

Psalm 30:5 -- "Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning."

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, listening to the waves softly lap against the sand, I felt like my heavenly Father was listening to my every thought, concern and feeling.

Do you find it difficult to explain everything you're feeling about your circumstances, your disappointments, and the dreams that have taken far too long to materialize? Truly, who could put words to all the emotions that rise up within you?

Yet there is One who understands every bit of your anguish. Jesus came to earth to experience what you're feeling and to understand your inner struggles. Because of His perfect wisdom concerning you, Jesus knows exactly how to restore your heart and comfort your soul.

Don't be afraid that no one understands what you're going through. Jesus does. So today, turn to Him and allow Him to heal your wounded heart with His love.

Psalm 31:7 -- "I will be glad and rejoice in your love, for you saw my affliction and knew the anguish of my soul."

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, my mind was filled with all the things I wanted to do for Him, as I realized all the blessings He had given me.

Then He stopped me in my tracks with the thought: "It is not about coming up with more ways to serve Me. What pleases Me is that you obey Me." He made it clear to me that He doesn't want a relationship with me that is based on regulations -- rather, He expects the foundation to be love.

Though it is easier to follow a set of spiritual rules, that is not what God has called us to do. He is all about love for Him and for others.

That is why sometimes when we are doing everything right, God sets us on a darkened path -- He is showing us how to rely upon Him completely -- not on what "we ourselves" can do.

Today, just realize that God would rather have a healthy, authentic, relationship with you than watch you observe some sacred ritual. His way is higher than mere religion, so follow Him. He will teach you to really love Him... with your whole heart!

Psalm 43:3 -- "Send out your light and your truth; let them guide me. Let them lead me to your holy mountain, to the place where you live."

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, I felt Him walking with me, speaking into my heart by His Spirit. Some days we feel His touch so tangibly, when other times He may seem far away, but He is always there -- no matter what we "feel."

When we allow our emotions to determine our relationship with the Father, we are only moved by Him when we "feel" Him. At other times we begin to doubt His Word. Our trust begins to dwindle and we start putting our trust in other things. We get off the path God has planned for us!

That is usually when we start trusting in what we can do on our own, or what others can do for us. Trusting in anything other than our Father in Heaven will lead us down the wrong path and we will end up some place we don't want to be. That is why He says, to set our face like a flint and not look to the right or to the left, as we travel our journey here on earth! He is the one that is directing our steps. He will take us to the right place, and have us meet the right people, and accomplish His will for our life!

Today as you start the journey of the new year, decide to set your face like a flint. Follow the Word of God daily as your light for your path! He is there, setting things up for a great year, even when challenges come your way! He is the Light! He is the Way to a victorious life and already has the path for you!

Psalm 37:23 -- "The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord, and He delights in his way."

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, I just sat and gazed at the endless horizon of His magnificent ocean. It made me think that our lives in eternity will be like that -- neverending!

Forever -- that's a really long time. In fact, eternity is so overwhelming many may wonder what we will be doing. Other than eating at God's banquet and worshiping at His throne, won't we get bored?

But Heaven isn't just puffy clouds and flowing robes. Whatever your purpose is on earth, it will be even more joyous and fulfilling in eternity -- because there, you won't face any of the hindrances that you have here on earth. Rather, you will praise God in creative ways you have never dreamed of.

Think about it as you walk your seashore of life -- eternity. Don't underestimate the overpowering awe of being in the magnificent presence of your Creator. He is more wonderful than you ever hoped. You are going to love Heaven -- and it is certain you will never ever want to leave!

Psalm 134:1 -- "Come, praise the Lord, all His servants, all who serve in His Temple."

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, again I am in awe of the way all of His creatures of the ocean work in harmony... as they fly, eat, play and glorify the Creator. They all work together!

In the human body, muscles, bones, and tendons, glands and nerves, and the cardiovascular, digestive, immune, and respiratory systems all coordinate to comprise a living being. Though they are different in their functions, they all work together to keep you going.

Your body is truly amazing -- and it is the perfect way to understand how we relate to each other as God's people. God doesn't want us to be exactly alike -- He created us with special talents and unique strengths. Yet we all come together for the extraordinary purpose of serving Him.

Love for our Father is the basis of our unity -- not conformity. So today, serve God with your whole heart and you are sure to fit right in, wherever you are!

Psalm 133:1 -- "How good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!"

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, a sailboat captured my eye as it glided across the waves in the early morning sun. It made me think of the Ark that represents our Covenant with God that gives us protection daily as we live our lives on the earth.

The Ark of the Covenant was important to Israel because God's presence would shine above it once a year on the Day of Atonement. Psalm 132 was written to commemorate the day when the Ark was brought back to Jerusalem after a long time away. Yet it also looked forward to the day when God's presence would constantly shine on His people.

My friend, that day came when the anointed one -- Jesus -- came as the Light of the World. Because of Him, you can constantly have God's presence in your life -- every minute of every day. So embrace God's light by believing in Jesus, and thank Him that you never have to live in darkness again.

Psalm 132:7 -- "My Anointed One will be a light for my people."

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, a sandpiper was fighting with the tiny fish in his mouth... scurrying around trying to hold him. It seemed to be hopeless and finally he gave up as the little fish hurried back into the water away from the little sandpiper!

One of the worst things about a hopeless situation is just that -- it lacks any hope. You can't see any evidence that things will ever get better. The same difficulty dogs you incessantly, wearing you down without any apparent possibility of reprieve.

Friend, the worst thing you can do is to assume your bad situation will never change -- that it is beyond God's reach to improve. Yet your life can be transformed in an instant. From one moment to the next, God can lift you out of your bad circumstances.

Your situation is not permanent, but the love and grace of God is! So follow Him. And praise God that He is going to transform your life for good.

Psalm 113:7 -- "He raises the poor from the dust; He lifts the needy from their misery and makes them companions of princes."

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, the sunrise was glorious with pinks and blues lighting up the horizon. I could only think of how much He must love us to wake us up each day with a beautiful new backdrop for His glorious ocean.

Today, think of the person you love most -- the person you would do anything for. Examine the depth of your love for him or her. Do you love that person more than yourself? Perhaps the one you love deepest is you.

Please understand that any love you could feel for another -- or even for yourself -- pales in comparison to the love of God. There is a limit to your love, or my love, but God's is unlimited. There are conditions to your love, but God's is unconditional. God's love is so vast, noble, and astounding that is is on a whole different level.

We cannot imagine how amazingly powerful and profound God's love is for us. So then today, let's rejoice that nothing can ever separate us from it!!!! Isn't that an amazing thought... never will we be separate from the love of our Father in Heaven!

Psalm 108:4 -- "Your love reaches higher than the heavens, and your loyalty extends beyond the clouds."

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, a pelican on the beach seemed to be hurting -- one of his wings had been injured. He was in need of help and I didn't know what to do.

What sort of help do you need today? Call upon God. He is:

The Great I Am - The God who is the same yesterday, today and forever. As He has helped others in the past, He will help you.

El Shaddai - The Almighty God who defends you against every enemy or evil.

Yahweh Rapha - The God who heals all of your wounds.

Yahweh Yireh - He's your provider who cares for all of your needs.

Yahweh Shalom - He Himself is your peace.

Yahweh M'Kaddesh - He's the one who makes you ready for salvation.

So today, call upon your wonderful God! He loves you greatly and He's always ready to help you, no matter what your need may be!

Psalm 124:8 -- "Our help is in the name of the Lord, who made heaven and earth."

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, the ocean seemed so calm and peaceful... it was such a reminder of the peace that God gives us. We are given that promise so we don't have to be anxious.

Are you anxious about tomorrow? Are your concerns keeping you awake? Fear can rob you of the rest you know you need and make you even weaker.

Yet you can sleep peacefully knowing that God is guarding you. So turn your thoughts and prayers to Him. Remember that your help comes from Him and that He's with you no matter what you'll face. He will give you wisdom for your situation and keep you from harm.

Though you're concerned from what will develop as you slumber, understand that God is watching the situation closely. He is your guard -- observing what you cannot and preparing you for what's ahead. So remember your Protector and sleep well.

Psalm 121: 3 -- "The Lord is your Protector, and He won't go to sleep or let you stumble."

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, I stopped to talk with a young lady, and after we walked away I felt a tiny check in my spirt.

As you are talking to someone, you will feel it -- like a sudden pause in your spirit. Something with what they're saying makes you feel uneasy, though it all appears right. What's going on?

Sometimes when you feel a hesitation about others, God may be cautioning you about their true intentions. Old-time believers called that a "check in the spirit." It's a divine signal that alerts you concerning some danger or deceit.

Friend, don't disregard God's warning, no matter how attractive or convincing the person. Pay attention to the "checks." Step back from the situation and watch it unfold. Certainly, God will show you what He's protected you from, and you'll be glad you listened to Him.

Psalm 120:2 -- "Deliver me, O Lord, from lying lips and from deceitful tongues."

Love and peace,

January 12, 2011

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, the sea gulls were walking along with me, seemingly enjoying our time together. They were making sounds, as though they were singing to the Father. We were all together in our thoughts and praise.

What a cool way to sing praise to the Father, I thought, as I walked with His tiny creatures. How about you? How do you praise Him? Do you use a stringed instrument, or a tambourine? Do you sing a beautiful melody or recite an eloquent speech? Do you bow your head or raise your hands?

First and foremost, praise to God must come from the heart -- with an attitude of joy, honor, and love for Him. After that, your praise can express itself in countless ways.

David himself praised God on an instrument, with dancing, and through writing psalms. He didn't limit the creative ways he could express his adoration for God. Neither should you or I.

So in this New Year, let's exalt God in everything we do and with everything we have. Truly, our loving Father deserves it... and it pleases Him.

Psalm 149:1,3 -- "Praise the Lord! Sing to the Lord a new song... Praise His name with dancing, accompanied by tambourine and harp."

Blessings and peace,

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, the waves were raging, the clouds were dark. Then I watched the sun break through the darkness and bring light and sun across the waters.

That is how we are at times. We seem to be in a dark place. We all can have destructive cycles in our lives. These are habits, beliefs, and ways of thinking that hinder you from becoming all God created you to be. In a sense, they are liabilities that are passed down through the generations because they are never taken to the One who can totally heal them.

Yet you can break the destructive cycle because God will teach you a different way to live -- He will have mercy on you and give you the strength and hope you need.

So don't be impeded by the mistakes or deficiencies of your past ancestors, and don't let those liabilities linger any longer. This year, let God make you part of His family, healthy, holy, peaceful and free!! He can do it!!!

Psalm 79:8 -- "Do not punish us for the sins of our ancestors. Have mercy on us now; we have lost all hope."

Blessings and peace,

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, I watched a tiny sandpiper struggle with a fish he had caught... it was getting away from him and he was fighting fiercely to hold on.

It reminded me of how we are when we struggle. Hopefully we learn to trust God in our struggles of life. One wonderful way to strengthen our confidence in Him is to consider the people who have served God before us.

Whether our parents and grandparents knew God or not, we have a heritage of faith to encourage us. Throughout the Bible are histories that God will use to fill us with awe of our heavenly Father. Yet we will also see what others have trusted God for -- things beyond human imagination -- and how they were rewarded!

Remember, we are not alone in our relationship with God. From Genesis to Revelation, we will find outstanding examples of overcoming faith and answered prayer. Ours is a heritage to be proud of -- so read the Word and be inspired.

Psalm 61:5 -- "You, O God, have heard my vows; You have given me the heritage of those who fear Your name."

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, I looked back to see how far I had walked. It was a long way, but I was looking forward to reaching the end of the beach -- that was always the goal I set!

I thought of how we sometimes get trapped looking back in life. It is a trap to believe that the past, where we have been, was "the best of times." We seem to boastfully reminisce about achieving a certain goal, having a special relationship, or experiencing some smashing victory -- and lament that our gold era is gone forever.

Such a view is usually centered on personal triumphs that were always destined to fade. Instead, our focus needs to be on God, who doesn't grow weaker in us. Rather, God will work more powerfully through us as we walk with Him daily.

Friends, let's make a decision to stop bragging about "the good ole' days" and look forward to a magnificent future with God. Our best days are ahead, so we should praise the One who gives us everlasting life... an incredible eternal life with Him.

Psalm 44:3 -- "Not by their own sword did they win the land... but Your right hand and Your arm, and the light of Your face, for You delighted in them."

Blessings and peace,
Sherron

January 8, 2011

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, I watched a tiny crab digging a hole in the sand, trying to bury himself before the water washed the sand back into the hole.

I thought of how we sometimes dig our own holes in life. You've probably heard that old cowboy proverb: "If you find yourself in a hole, stop digging. It reflects the principle that if you've created problems for yourself through your mode of operation, you must alter your methods to get out of trouble.

Friend, if you're constantly getting into messes, you've got to change your conduct in order to get the results you want. The good news is that God wants to teach you a new way to do things that will satisfy your soul.

Today as you walk your seashore of life, submit to God's instructions, and He will show you His path out of your predicament. He will transform the way you think and give you a firm place to stand. What a great way to start the new year! Do it now!

Psalm 40:2 -- "He lifted me out of the mire, He set my feet on a rock and gave me a firm place to stand."

Blessings and peace,

January 7, 2011

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, the ocean was calm, the sky was beautiful, and the pelicans were gently soaring above the waves waiting for their food.

And then the calm sea produces a sudden tsunami. The clear, brilliant skies fill with the smoke of an unexpected explosion. The body that appears fit is imperceptibly racked with disease.

These unanticipated calamities shock your soul, but they also infuse you with valuable wisdom: You must appreciate your blessings and your loved ones today, for you may not have them tomorrow.

My friend, no matter what your hopes are for the future, don't wait to start living until you achieve them. Make the most of every moment and care for those around you.

Today is the good day, so honor God by living it out fully. Worship God, love your family, be grateful and make every day the best day of your life.

Psalm 39:4 -- "Lord, remind me how brief my time on earth will be. Remind me that my days are numbered, and that my life is fleeing away."

Blessings and peace,

January 6, 2011

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, a young lady walking by said, "How are you?," and of course, I replied, "fabulous." I said that because I am fabulous, only because I serve a God that is fabulous, and He makes every moment of my life worth living! We have all done it. Someone asks, "How are you?" and our automatic answer is, "Fine." Unfortunately, that is not always true. It's just easier -- and safer -- no other response is required once the "fine" has been safely delivered.

It's intimidating to be real with people. They may get offended. They could criticize you or make you feel guilty. They could even use your confessions against you.

The thing is, you can't hide your emotions and troubles from God. He sees the un-sugarcoated truth of your heart, and still accepts you, which means you don't have to fear communicating openly with Him.

Remember, you may put on an act with others, but you shouldn't with God. He knows -- and will always love-the real you. Be honest with Him.

Psalm 38:9 -- "Lord, all my desire is before You; and my sighing is not hidden from you."

Blessings and peace,
Sherron

January 5, 2011

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, the sea gulls were walking in a group along the shore -- making noises as they walked. It was as though they were praising the Lord.

Expressing praise to God can take many forms. Scripture teaches that David danced before Him. Yet David also wrote worshipful psalms to express his appreciation. Some have sung hymns to thank God for His goodness, while others have played their musical instruments.

How do you praise God? Do you lift your hands in exaltation? Or do you drop to your knees in humble adoration? Is a tambourine your instrument for rejoicing? Or do you express your passion through poems?

Whatever it is, the important thing is that you are celebrating God. This evening, whether you dance or paint, sing or are silent -- make sure you give your wonderful God all of the glory.

2 Samuel 6:14 -- "David danced before the Lord with all his might."

January 4, 2011

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, the sun was shining on the water dancing like diamonds. I felt the Holy Spirit say, "You are my shining diamonds of love in the earth."

He emphasized the importance of us being aware of this fact... we carry His love. Human love is generally described as a feeling and is often based on fleeting passions. Outwardly, even minor things can affect its disposition, because it looks inward -- to its own interests. And our human love grows harder and less trusting with each experience.

However, God's love is different from human love. His love is not an emotion, rather, it is a deliberate, consistent action that is given unconditionally. His love is not moved by circumstances because it looks outward -- to your best interest.

Therefore, love others with God's kind of love this evening. No doubt others will respond well to His unconditional love and will find you absolutely lovely.

1 John 4:11 -- "Beloved, if God loved us so very much, we also ought to love one another."

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, the gentleness of the waves against the sand reminded me of how our Father gently wooes us to His side. Come to me, come to me. And what better place to sense His presence than the silent walks along the beach.

Every day we arise, we need to be sure the first place we go to is "into His presence". I want to commit in this New Year to be anxious to get before my Father every day, and no delays. The world rushes to steal our time for Jesus every day. The world comes to us with "urgent" things that need to be done. Everyone has an activity or an agenda that needs our immediate attention. Our task filled agendas seem to fill our every waking moment -- but that is not where the fullness of life comes from.

We need to rework our daytimers for 2011 and give them to our Father. He is the one that ordered our days, even before we were born, but somewhere along the line we took them over. And we have seen that is not where true success lies.

Let's commit today, to take our daytimers and our agendas and put them in the hands of our Father, and seek Him first. Then let's see what true success looks like -- according to our Father who know how to truly order lives according to His plan! It will be the greatest year ever!!

Psalm 16:11 -- "Thou will show me the path of life; in thy presence is fullness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore."

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, the beach had snow flakes falling and quickly melting into the sand. But what a beautiful sight -- and all I could think of what the scripture that says, "His blood washed our sins whiter than snow."

What a blessing to know that we are free, free, free, because of the blood of Jesus! The pure white snow is a beautiful reminder that He gave His life that we might be free to live successful lives, full of peace, full of love, full of joy, full of all we have need of. That should be enough for us to jump up every day shouting our praises to the Lord... for life that cannot be taken away from us by anyone!

Every day in this New Year, let's make a commitment to accept this love which has been given to us. Then we can learn to live as free beings because of the love He has sacrificed to give us! That is perfect love... unconditional love that we did nothing to earn. Isn't that an amazing thought? You are loved and you can walk in that confidence every day of your life. What a difference, to know you are loved by the Creator of this universe. This is the thought we need to carry everywhere we go, and not let the enemy steal that love by showing us how bad we are but instead, walk with the knowledge that He loves you and you can do nothing to separate yourself from that perfect love! Freely receive His love today and be free throughout this New Year!

1 John 4:18 -- "There is no fear in love; but perfect love cast out fear; because fear hath torment. He that fears is not made perfect in love."

Blessings and love,
Sherron

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, I felt as though the waves were taking me to a new place in time. They were crisp and white, just as a fresh wind from the throne room would be! My Father was speaking to my spirit about the New Year we have just stepped into!

Today as you experience the first day of the New Year, reflect on His goodness and all He has held you through in the past year... be grateful and grab hold of the new thing He is doing in this upcoming year! He has promised that He is doing a new thing... and we can forget those things which lie behind as we press toward the goal! Isn't it refreshing to know God never runs out of "new things?"

We can never move forward looking back, but we can soar with Him as we trust Him to take us to new levels in the Spirit this year! He has great things planned for us, and is always taking us from glory to glory! Let Him move you forward, not turning back to the things of the past so you can reach those goals in the spirit realm that He is calling you to! He is there with the plan and your obedience! Let's make this the greatest year for moving into the things of God! What a great way to begin the year!

Philippians 3:13 -- "One thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead. Press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus!"

Blessings and peace,
Sherron
